Welcome! Hey, My name is Khaled Monsur, founder and author of Aquaria Tale

I have completed my bachelor of science degree in Fisheries and Masters in Genetics & Fish Breeding from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University. Now I’m planning for a Phd and currently, working as a Consultant in a private fisheries farm.

During my master degree I did work on Fish Conservation Genetics and My research title is “Observations of Gonadal Histomorphometry of Gangetic Leaffish Nandus Nandus (Hamilton, 1822)” You can also check the paper and citation in ResearchGate.

I did another research on Butter Catfish with one my friends titled “Probiotic Enrich Dietary Effect on the Reproduction of Butter Catfish, Ompokpabda (Hamilton, 1872)” Its also been published at International Journal of Current Research in Life Sciences, Read Pdf here. I also have few on line to peer review.

So, because of my job nature and continuing 12 years of schooling in fisheries science, I have to keep up to date with the latest information about fisheries. This is why the website is created.

On this website, I will be sharing the best helpful resources about Fisheries and Fishing knowledge, Fish Conservation, Fish Genetics, Fish Keeping, Sport Fishing and many more.

Interesting part is that, I’m an aquarium fanatic and have been keeping ornamental fishes for almost a decade. And somehow, today; my fate brings me here as a fisheries scientist.

Eventually, this website has become a source of interesting and useful information for fish lovers. I also have a category called Fish Clinic where I talk about various fish diseases and remedies in a convenient way.

As a consultant, I often have to meet with well-known fisheries experts. This gives me the chance to learn the latest information about fisheries, which I can share with you.

My gratitude to the fish experts who told me about their own experiences and thus, have made it possible for me to talk in depth about the things that interest you. And I try to include as much information as possible in the articles on this website.
